Principal --- Randal D. Magley
Randy Magley started his career in construction in 1973, In 1983 he founded a contracting firm under the name of RD Magley Construction.
Over the course of 28 years, Randy contracted and built many residential, commercial, and industrial projects throughout the Northwest.
In the last 12 years prior to forming Cascade Inspections Northwest, Randy contracted to perform numerous remediation projects associated with buildings with EIFS exterior cladding systems (Exterior Insulating Finishing System) and hard coat stucco systems.
It was during this time that Randy found that many of the water intrusion issues could have been avoided if the contractors installed the systems as per the manufacturer’s specifications and also industry standards.
Randy realized that because of the lack of proper supervision and also a lack of proper construction knowledge that these water intrusion problems were created. Therefore in 2001, Randy formed Cascade Inspections Northwest, an inspection firm specializing in water intrusion issues and construction defect issues along with Stucco and EIFS inspections.
Philosophy ---
Ultimately, our goal is to work with our clients to help ensure that all work is being performed as per the manufacturer’s specifications and industry standards.
We inspect each property thoroughly from the foundation to the roof as if we were making the investment into the property ourselves.

Each client receives one-on-one attention through the entire remediation process with the same inspector from the beginning to the end of the project

We invite our clients to participate and provide input during the inspection process and throughout and remediation process: we never forget that our job is to protect your investment.
Creativity ---
Creativity is achieved through our experiences with working with water intrusion and construction defect issues, as well as through brainstorming sessions with the contractors. Our firm helps design waterproofing details and our design staff can create written details to suite the specific needs of the project because truly all projects are different and require individual care.
